Commonly known as the *Pearl of Africa*, Uganda is blessed with undeniable natural beauty. In the west, the Rwenzori peaks reach towards the sky, the perfect challenge for bold explorers – Across the nation, parks are home to some of the world’s most exotic animals: Silverbacks, lions and countless others, ooh… Uganda is home to Africa’s big 5.

Winding roads lead to places of grand beauty and unique cultures for those who dare to explore. There’s a story at every turn, especially from our people, who are renowned for their warmth and charm.

Uganda’s climate is largely tropical with two rainy seasons per year, March to May and September to December. The northern region, which forms one-quarter of the country lies outside the tropical belt and hence experiences only one rainy season, March to October.

Uganda temperatures are relatively stable throughout the year and tourists can visit at any time of the year.

A big number of travellers prefer to visit Uganda during the 2 dry seasons December to February and June to August when conditions are generally good for trekking both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees.

Game drives are also quite a memorable experience during the dry season as you get to spot a huge variety of wildlife and bird species.
