Day 1:Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Day 2:Entebbe – Ziwa – Murchison

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will be picked by our experienced driver guides ready to set off to Murchison Falls National Park about 311 kilometers, approximately five hours’ drive. While on the way, you will have a chance to sight at the magnificent flat landscapes of central Uganda as well as Nakasongola prior branching to Nakitoma about seven kilometers then link to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival you will set off for the most captivating rhino tracking to spot out southern white rhinos both adults and their young ones. A visit to this sanctuary allows you to have a complete list of the big five game in Uganda. After, you will connect to Murchison Falls National Park for overnight stay at Pakuba Safari Lodge

Day 3:Morning Game Drive & Boat cruise

After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will proceed for a game drive in search of animals, expect to meet animals like buffalos, waterbucks, lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, Jackson’s heart beasts, oribis, warthogs and other species of animals at the delta. Return later to the lodge for lunch and freshening and prepare for an afternoon activity. After lunch at 2:00pm, report at the landing site to start your boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. At the comfort of your boat, you will see different animal species such as hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes at the water edges including different bird species. Day 4:Transfer to Kibale National park

You will wake up at your leisure to begin a long but fascinating journey through Uganda’s countryside. The journey takes you through several towns and major trading centers where you will be able to experience life in Uganda’s rural areas. Upon reaching at the lodge you will check-in and freshen up as prepare for a guided walk the Bigodi wetlands sanctuary. The sanctuary is one of the best places to spot primates in Uganda. You will encounter Black/White Colobus Monkeys, Baboons, Red tailed monkeys, Vervet monkeys, Mangabeys and L’Hoest monkeys. Apart from monkeys, expect to see bush pigs, antelopes and bush backs.The walk is not only about animals. The Bigodi swamp is one of the best birding destinations Uganda. There are over 374 bird species thriving in the wetland including water-thick-knee, hornbills, yellow billed egrets and Hamerkop among others. Isunga lodge.

Day 5:Chimpanzee Trekking & Nature Walk

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred for briefing at Kanyanchu tourism center before you start your chimp trek in the forest. Your experienced ranger guide will lead you as you hike through the tropical forest for an unforgettable and rewarding experience in search of man’s closest relatives the Chimpanzees. After lunch, you will take a Swamp walk in Bigodi community – proceeds from this help in community development. This walk through the wetland will bring you close to nature. You might have sightings of red-tailed monkeys, Mangabeys, several bird species and butterflies. This walk continues on to visit different homes where you will have a coffee experience, banana brewing, basketry and learning about different traditions medicines.

Day 6:Transfer to Semuliki National park

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Semuliki National park , during the journey you’ll stopover at the Equator to take photos, also feel free to buy some crafts and souvenirs and later proceed to Semuliki National park. Meals and accommodation at Ruwenzori Guest House.

Day 7:Nature walk and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth N P

After breakfast, you will take a Sempaya nature walk that will have you exploring the Sempaya hot springs. These hot springs can sprout up to 2m high and boil at more than 100 degrees Celsius that you can even boil an egg or plantain.  During the eco-walk, you might also encounter primates like the black and white colobus monkeys. After lunch, you will get to proceed on a transfer to Kasese via Fort Portal. In Kasese, you have an opportunity to visit the Ruboni craft village where you will find women crafting different items like mats and baskets. You can actually join them and get to learn basket weaving. Thereafter, you will transfer to you to simba safari camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8:Morning Game Drive & Water Safari

After an early morning cup of coffee or tea, you will drive to Kasenyi plains for your game drive viewing. The plains boost of several wild animals whose chance of seeing them depends on your luck of the day. On a good day, you may spot big cats like lions and leopards hunting, buffaloes, elephants, several antelopes, warthogs and other small mammals. Return to the lodge for lunch and then drive to Mweya peninsular for a two-hour boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Kazinga channel has the highest concentration of hippos in the whole world, over 400 water bird species and is a place where most animals converge to drink water. You will have high chances of spotting hippos, birds, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and so much more. Retire to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9:Safari Experience

After breakfast, you will head for a game drive for a classic African safari experience, the tracks through the North Kazinga Plains and the Ishasha Sector offer virtually guaranteed buffalo, antelope and elephant sightings, along with warthogs and baboons. Taking a drive in the early morning or at dusk is the most successful way to track down a pride of lions, and maybe even the odd leopard that we might have missed yesterday Later proceed to Bwindi impenetrable forest Meals and accommodation at the lodge

Day 10:Gorilla Trekking

After an early breakfast, we will drive to the park headquarters to be allocated a gorilla tracking group. You will get a briefing by your trackers, and then you start the amazing adventure of Gorilla trekking. The tracking / trekking can entail some thorough climbing as well as hiking although when you come face to face with the tranquil yet potent Mountain Gorillas, watching them only a few meters away from you observing the group, the baby with the mothers, the gorillas partaking their everyday routine just right in front of you is all very overwhelming experience. After the experience you will head back to the lodge.

Day 11:Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast at 8am, you will start your journey back to Kampala passing through rolling hills with terraces and also you will have a great time viewing the lush vegetation of the different areas you will go through. Have lunch in Mbarara. Overnight stay at Forest cottages Kampala

Day 12:Short city Tour

After breakfast at 9am, you will be driven around Uganda’s capital city with a short around Kampala’s most iconic attractions. Later transferred to Entebbe International airport to connect with your flight back home.
