The Afrika bite Restaurant is situated in a serene residential area of Kimihurura, this cozy restaurant offers local and regional cuisine. Most dishes are prepared the East African way (with little or no vegetable oil,) allowing the delicious ingredients to keep their natural flavours. Their buffet and the Saturday lunch cooked and served in folded banana leaves (Oluwombo) is a crowd puller, it’s also the only restaurant in Kigali that prepares and serve food from Inkono (clay pots)

Everything about this place is African, from food to décor; their plates are also moulded out of clay. The aroma of Smoked rice, boiled cut pieces of Cassava, Maize bread, mashed Matoke (umunyige) and sweet potatoes to go with ground nuts sauce, boiled fresh green peas, chicken stew, fresh beans and fish arrests you meters before you reach the place.
