Overview

Day one of your 9Days-Uganda-esxclusive-safari-Neza Safaris

Arrival / town learning .Debriefing and getting ready for the safari.

Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2:

From your place of residence – Murchison Falls National Park.

300km North West of Kampala (approx. 6hour drive).

An early departure – but well worth it! After breakfast, you are on your way North to Murchison Falls National Park .Stop over at Masindi for lunch then head to the park.

After lunch drive to the entrance of the main gate of the Park. After about 20 minutes’ drive in the park, you will get into Budongo forests where you will get a chance to view the different monkey species and Chimps as you drive through on your way to your choice of accommodation depending on your choice of safari that is Once you reach the Nile in the heart of the Park you will cross on the ferry to Paraa Safari Lodge if it’s your\ choice of accommodation.

The sight of the Nile River, the world’s longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable.

If you are not too tired and your place has a swimming pool, you can decide to swim or sit by the swimming pool and enjoy the scenery.

Overnight at your choice of accommodation.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will go for an early morning game drive to the rolling plains where you have chances of viewing Lions, Giraffe, Hartebeest, Buffalo and Elephant as well as many of the other mammals of the park.  For the birders, these areas support the Secretary Bird, Black Chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Marshal Eagles Carmine and Swallow Tailed Bee-Eaters, to pick just a few.  This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savannah down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north to the Sudan

You can choose to have lunch at paraa safari lodge/Red chill camping sight enjoy the sight overlooking the Nile.

In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the foot of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap, or down river to the delta where the Nile empties into Lake Albert. This is an experience not to be missed! The banks of the Nile are home to many species. You may see huge Nile Crocodiles, big Pods of Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to drink from the river.

 Day 4:

Murchison Falls National Park-kibale National Park.

You can also choose to sleep in and have a relaxing breakfast at about 10am Exit the park . Get there in the afternoon and overnite at primate lodge or other choice of accommodation.

 Day 5: 

After breakfast you will track the chimps and the Afternoon head to Queen Elizabeth National Park…

Queen Elizabeth National Park covers 1,978 sq km and lies north and south of the equator in south-western Uganda. From open savannah to rainforest, from dense papyrus swamps and brooding crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.

It’s a little wonder that Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park or reserve in the world, – from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and brooding Crater lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward.

Almost 100 mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants ,Uganda kob and the elusive Giant Forest Hog plus remarkable 606 bird species that include the Black Chested Eagle, the Swallow Tailed Bee Eaters,  Verreaux’s eagle owl and African skimmer to name but a few. kob all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula – which also boasts also boasts a marvellous waterfront setting in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains.

 Overnight at your choice of accommodation.

 Day 6:  This morning starts with a game drive to the Kasenyi Area to look for lion prides and other wildlife. Uganda kobs mate around this area and this gives you a chance to see their breeding behaviors. Many animals will cross your paths, elephants, antelopes and with a bit of luck also lions or hyenas.

Head back to the lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon embark one of the boats for a boat trip. This will allow you to experience wildlife up close where hippos huff and spray mere feet away, buffalo linger in the shallows and a tremendous variety of birds grace the grasses on the river’s edge. Amongst those you will see are the malachite and pied kingfishers, great white and pink-backed pelicans and the open-billed stork. With some luck you will even spot elephants on the river banks coming for a drink and a bath. We return to the lodge for dinner.

Spend the early evening at the lodge, enjoy the pool which is overlooking the Kazinga Channel and observe animals from the pool deck.

Queen Elizabeth National Park-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

 Day 7

After your hearty breakfast, we will exit the park at around 10:00am and  depart by road to Bwindi  Impenetrable Forest National Park which situated in South western Uganda ,The park is  a hilly country side with remnant lowland forest. There are approximately 752 mountain gorillas in the entire world and here you can find half of the world’s mountain gorillas. It is most famous for gorilla tracking but there also hiking trails where you can see a variety of birds and primates. Bwindi and also provides refugee to elephants, chimpanzee, monkeys and various small antelopes. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. The drive will take approximately 3 hrs depending on your interest along the way.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a jungle of 331 square kilo metres containing both montane and lowland forest only accessible on foot. it has 120 species of mammals  9 groups of habituated Gorilla families 8 tourists booked per group per day .Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park has three parts  the northern part which is known  as Buhooma in Kanungu District, the southern part  known as Rubuguri in Kisoro Disitrict  and Eastern part known as Ruhija  in Kabale District.

You will get there in late afternoon or in the eveving.

Overnight at your choice of accommodation OR Gorilla Forest camp.

Day 8:  

This morning starts with tracking the mountain gorillas that takes two to eight hours depending on the location of the group . The adventure requires a reasonable level of fitness since the forest comprises of dense tangled vegetation draped over the mountainous landscape of deeply fissured valleys and steep ridges.

Head back to the lodge/hotel for lunch and later in the afternoon embark  community walks provides an insight into the lives of Bakiga and Batwa (pygmy)people living beside the forest. Bwindi hills are inhabited by Bakiga ,hard working farmers who have created the regions emblematic land scape of  steeply terraced hills. Batwa pygyms inhabit the margins of Bwindi and Mgahinga forests and offer exciting tours to glimpse life through their eyes when they lived in forest.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park-lake Bunyoni/lake Mburo National park.

We return to the lodge/hotel for dinner.

OR either head to Lake Bunyonyi or lake Mburo National Park.

Here you enjoy the pool  relax and enjoy  the beautiful scenery over lake bunyoni island  or lake Mburo National park. Later on have dinner at the lodge /hotel.

Day 9

Exit the park and head to Kampala/airport.

Day 1:Kampala

Here you enjoy the pool relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery over lake bunyoni island or lake Mburo National park. Later on have dinner at the lodge /hotel.

Day9:

Exit the park and head to Kampala/airport.

Optional of extra night on day 9 to stay at Lake Bunyoni pay extra $280 per person

Day 10 .head to Kampala/airport.
